I have been pondering something lately and wonder if there are any lawyers of financial gurus out there.

Wouldn't it be great if there were a way to have all our earthly possessions willed to Israel? With the Rapture and we are all gone along with all our heirs (prayerfully) All our earthly possession would go to the government and the AC. Wouldn't it be cool if millions if not billions were suddenly transferred out of the hands of Satan to the Children of Israel?

I was a member of Corner Stone untill recently I was never able to get close enough to John Hagee to make the recomendation.

Nice idea, but I'm thinking they'd list us as missing and wait 7 years to declare us dead.

For the most part, you can will your property to whomever you want.

Depending on your assets, however, there are some laws which prevent their transfer to a foreign nation state (i.e., if you own a broadcast television station).

I'm not sure how it works to leave real estate to a foreign nation state...I'm not sure U.S. courts would uphold that. But you could certainly leave $$ to Israel.

I'm curious what this would accomplish? If you believe in a literal version of Revelation, the Antichrist will be defeated by God, not by mankind. It won't matter if Israel has trillions of dollars or completely destitute. Either way Israel won't stand a chance without God's protection.

Looking on the practical side, we can't ever be sure of the salvation of others. As much as you can believe with all your heart that you won't have any heirs left on earth, only God knows for sure. It would be foolish to will away your possessions and deprive them of a chance of survival during this very trying time.

Yes, I checked with our lawyer about our family trust. We were informed that there will definitely be a seven year waiting period for us to be declared dead and the trust to be dispersed to our beneficiaries. If we are raptured, it will do them no good, if the seven years of tribulation start directly after the rapture.

There are a few ways to do this, but one involves setting up a trust in Israel that has as its trustee a nonbelieving Israeli. Under the terms of the trust, your unavailability over a defined period of time would trigger a distribution of the trust to Israeli beneficiaries. Interestingly, the trust would have to stipulate that the trustee resign in case he became a believer.

Good question.
