Israel accompolished a lot, but only by God. When they turned their backs on God they were put under judgement.

It seems that is what we would be doing as a nation, and nations will be judged(Matthew 25:35-46), when we disobey God. God gave us a command to bless Israel so we should do so. If we disobey we will be cursed and under judgement. Seems very fatalistic to say its gonna happen anyway so just have at it. Thats not our decision to make.

Will other countries trade with Israel knowing how they feel about them today? Our support for Israel is the only reason other nations havent risen up to try to wipe them off the map. They all know that if they pick on Israel then big brother USA is coming after them. If we turn our back on Israel it will be the end of us as a nation. I believe the only reason we have been so blessed as a nation is because we spread the gospel and supported Israel. We are dead to the gospel as a nation and when we leave Israel to fend for herself that will be the last straw and no politician, Ron Paul included, will be able to repair that.

Blessings are not always in cash. Friendship, prayers, etc are just as valuable. Sending tax payer dollars is helpful, but the same can be accomplished through personal donations. Regardless of who's president they must continue to support Israel, but that does not mean our nation will not be put through judgement. The growing anti-semetic, atheist and humanist movements are plaguing our nation and especially the youth. We will be judged by out nations people, not just by our nations leadership. We cannot stand by and do nothing, but our nation has more problems outside its politics.

FYI- Israel is Europes #1 supplier of produce last time I checked. So they have many trade partners outside of the US. Just a fact. I'm not saying our trade with them is umimportant. I just want people to know that our relationship with Israel is less about their economy and more about their security.

I just saw a BBC article that Bachmann's one manager just jumped ship to Paul's campaign in Iowa.

Does this guy know what he is doing? It must be an impressive $$$ that baited him.

As for Bachmann, if this manager is following this RP wingnut, she is best rid of him.

As it should be.

And more about their spirituality.

I can understand removing all foreign aid, including to Israel, if we remain close military partners and offer subsidized prices of military items. Cuts down out costs without damaging Israel's ability to protect itself. Also the world will know were there for our friend Israel.

Nothing to fear for us. We know Christ dwells within us and paid our ransom. It's more sad. Think of the naive people out there denying His graceful gift. We must pray for them. Especially because many of them will vote next year.
