San Francisco Archbishop Responds After Caught on Video Giving Communion to Gay Men Dressed as Nuns

By John-Henry Westen

SAN FRANCISCO, October 10, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Last Sunday, October 7, San Francisco Archbishop George Niederauer said Mass at a Catholic church in the heart of the 'gay district' of Contra Castro County. Most Holy Redeemer parish has a lamentable reputation of having caved in to demands of homosexual activists. One group of homosexual activists which until recently operated regularly out of the parish was called "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence", men who wear makeup and dress as Catholic nuns. Archbishop Niederauer was filmed giving two members of this group Holy Communion Sunday.

The "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence", whose motto is "go and sin some more" and describes itself as a "leading-edge order of queer nuns," planned to hold regular bingo games at Most Holy Redeemer parish until Catholic activists reported the plans to the press. A local homosexual newspaper, the San Francisco Bay Times, reported that the events at the parish included sexually explicit activities. Prizes included porn DVDs and "sex toys" the paper said.

I'm not Catholic but why doesn't the pope speak out on this?

This is a total mockery of Christian teachings.

Honestly, these "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence", whose motto is

"go and sin some more"

have NO business in any church.

If they are trying to change (go straight) that's one thing but when it's clear they are not changing and wish to change the church, or at the very least mock Christian teachings, why doesn't the Catholic church or this priest excommunicate them as they freely do in other situations?

BTW, you should see the pictures at this link. There's no way there was any confusion on behalf of the priest in not seeing this as a problem.

The "Sisters" were heavily involved in the recent Folsom Street Fair which in addition to full nudity and public sex acts by homosexuals involved included a mockery of the Last Supper with Christ and his apostles represented by leather-clad homosexuals

These people need so much prayer and counseling. Just the fact that any person would have so little identity as a human as to need to heavily identify his very being with the kind of sex he desires, is the saddest thing I've ever heard. This sin is a complete giving over of your humanity, your very essence as a created being, over to the evil one. How empty would one have to be to identify yourself primarily by what you do with your genitalia? Heartbreaking. Praying.

The Bishop has proofed once again the Catholic Church is an abomination to God by his actions and the Pope's silence. God will spit them out of his mouth they are so cold in faith.
