Hamas was encouraged and started by the Israelis as a tool to counteract Yasser Arafat, so says Ron Paul.

I think Ron Paul would do more harm to America than Obama has.

He needs to become the spokesman for them then, and show to the last believers he is a true paulestinian.

A few years ago I liked what he had to say about domestic budgetary issues and practices, but didn't care for some of his foreign policy comments, though I do agree the U.S. should not try to police the whole world. Since then it seems he has become less and less appealing as a candidate. IMO if his poll numbers continue to rise I would suggest there are probably some shenanigans going on with money, noise and whatever else it takes, coming from the Dems [covertly, of course]. It seems to me Paul has finally 'gone over the edge', or perhaps we are just learning more about his deeper views since he is in the spotlight more than before.

It seems to be the latter since much of this has been out there for some time. Until now he has never been enough of a candidate to critically look into his views. He has a very zealous and loyal following, but he was never much of a top tier guy, but in this field he is getting serious consideration in some people's eyes.

I for one am glad it is being done now, as this may just end his serious consideration as mainstream in the primaries. It will hopefully make him less of a factor should he do the politically insane and become the ralph nader of the isolationist, libertarian wing on the Right.
