I can think of a lot more things that are tragic than yearbook photo. :doh

it is truly a sign of desperation :lol2

Amen and AMEN, ladies!!!:preach I just got home from work, went to Drudge and all the awful stuff going up re Newt's ex and the interview, yadda, yadda, SAW THE ARTICLE ON RICK SANTORUM and absolutely blew a gasket!!!!! These people are so very desperate and CRUEL! Okay... I graduated from HS in 1967 and Rick's yearbook pic looks so totally normal for those from "back in the day." My DH is now doing a little bit of sleuthing to see if he can find the HS pic of the author of the article (the guy writing for "The Atlantic").:lol2 Don't think he'll find one, but I am so very saddened by all of this! Can you all imagine how very awful it's going to be once the final candidate is nominated??!! No one (in the MSM) dares touch :dohbama! I have never seen such blatant character(s) assassination as I've seen in this race for POTUS!:tsk I sooooo want to go home! :sob I need a hug! :sad

Maybe they'll dig up all kinds of pointless stuff, so that when a fau pax does rear its head, people will brush it off.

Why is this news???? This media is desperate for anything to bring down Obama's opponents. This is how they work. Obama has never won an election on his own merit, either his opponents drop out, "super delegates" pick him over the person people actually voted for, or his opponents are beaten up so badly by the media that it makes Obama look better.

Well, for one thing, they've shown that Santorum actually graduated from an American high school!:heh

:shocked BARB! You wore a beehive in 1968???!!! How about dark-rimmed glasses to go with that hive!:lol2 :thinking Gosh! in '67 I was soooo trying to STRAIGHTEN my naturally-curly hair ... or straighten and "flip it" like Barbara Eden's or Mary Tyler Moore's!:lol2

Okay.... back to the thread.....

I graduated from high school in ’76 too. You could easily tell by the way we looked in those photos which group we belonged to. Big ‘fro on a guy or billowy dress on a girl? Last of the hippie/protester types. Messy, lemon-juice-lightened hair with whitish liptstick and a straw purse? Beach-babe-surfers (chapped lips alone on the guys made this statement). Squinty-eyed stares and used Army coats? Drug-users/bathroom smokers. Tough glares and large necks? Jocks. Sticking one index finger up toward the ceiling? Born-again Jesus freaks (I say that with affection). So, looking at Rich S., with the buttoned-up shirt, sports coat, combed-down hair, and big glasses, I’d guess “A” student, ran for class president, maybe chess or debate club. He may have even volunteered to wheel the audio-visual cart into classrooms for the occasional Friday film. What's not to love?

He kinda reminds me of John Lennon with glasses.

What's not to love? The Chess Club. If they let that one leak out, its all over for the guy. :pound

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I think he looks just fine.
Take off the glasses and he is quite handsome.
