my senior year yearbook photo is somewhat worse than Santorum's. they put my picture in the wrong graduaring classes when I graduated.
I graduated in 1998 from HS and the yearbook has me put in with class of 1999 :doh . I hold no hard feelings, mainly cause I am good friends with my class of 98 and 99 alums from my old HS

I was a Freshman in high school in 1976 and Sen. Santorum looks like all of the average young men who attended my school. At least he doesn't have a cigarette hanging out of his mouth looking like a gang-banger as Obama does in some photos I've seen of him when he was younger.

Pretty clean-cut for 1976. It was still the Hippie Era and it was just beginning to transition into the Disco Era. I'm glad I missed both of them....**shudders**. Although, the '80s were pretty scary too!!!:lol2 :heh :pound

They wouldn't want to see mine. A mullet even though we never called it that back then.

I graduated from high school in ’76 too. You could easily tell by the way we looked in those photos which group we belonged to. Big ‘fro on a guy or billowy dress on a girl? Last of the hippie/protester types. Messy, lemon-juice-lightened hair with whitish liptstick and a straw purse? Beach-babe-surfers (chapped lips alone on the guys made this statement). Squinty-eyed stares and used Army coats? Drug-users/bathroom smokers. Tough glares and large necks? Jocks. Sticking one index finger up toward the ceiling? Born-again Jesus freaks (I say that with affection). So, looking at Rich S., with the buttoned-up shirt, sports coat, combed-down hair, and big glasses, I’d guess “A” student, ran for class president, maybe chess or debate club. He may have even volunteered to wheel the audio-visual cart into classrooms for the occasional Friday film. What's not to love?
:spew Oh the memories! We used Sun-In, made our hair orange straw like our purses. :doh The bad patterned shiny shirts, platform shoes, guys with sad mustache-wannabes... :lol2
Actually, he graduated not far from me, all the *good* kids looked like him. :nod

Yep, remember that Sun-In that made my hair orange:lol2 Remember the guy's medallions also? And puka shells? Sorry, got off track, but RS high scool pic looks just fine. How desparate are these people to have to go back and find an old high school picture to try to disparage him? Come on. :rolleyes
