Since I live alone, I not into making long-winded, gigantic meals. My meals tend to be fast and easy and sort of a "smorgasbord" - for instance, if I feel like eggs and chicken at the same time - that's what I will eat! Last night I had a fresh bread roll that I dipped in a balsamic vinegar and olive oil combination, a few black grapes, some Milo and scrambled eggs. :) I know - what a combination - but I enjoyed it! :aha
I must admit that I have a tendency to eat a lot of chicken fillets, eggs, tinned tuna, bananas, avocadoes, grapes, feta cheese, brie cheese, camembert cheese, and mozarella cheese. I love chips (french fries) and potatoes in all its various "formats", I also eat a lot of flat breads and enjoy humus sauce as well as snails in cheesy garlic butter sauce with french loaf! My heritage is Dutch, French & Irish - so I guess you can see the familiar tastes coming out : Irish = potatoes, Dutch = cheese and french = cheese and snails in garlic butter sauce! So I guess the old saying of the apple not falling far from the tree is rather true in my instance!

Over here we call "Spam" polony, and although I know a lot of people like it, I can't face it, I prefer ham slices on my sandwiches with lots of Hot English mustard, cheese, tomato and onion!

We had the pastor and his wife over for lunch today. I made BBQ ribs, baked Calico beans, potato salad, and deviled eggs. We are still so full that I did not even bother to make dinner!
