So you really are a Californian. I grew up in Santa Barbara. Our family moved to the Central Calif. Valley 18years ago. In laws live in Paso Robles. Only Californians know about tri tip! Wish I could send you some. It's marinating as we speak.:hug
Oh, SB is cool! Went and visited my sister there sometimes while she was in college. Still remember the tar on my feet from the beach, but the beach volleyball was awesome! LOL
Yup, Atascadero and Paso Robles. Pretty much where I grew up, except for the early years that I don't remember much of.
We lived at 3250 El Camino Real, in Atascadero, which was a beautiful turn-of-the-century farmhouse on 3 rich acres, later paved over and turned into warehouse land.

Then we moved to the Dresser Ranch in Paso Robles when I was in 6th grade.
Back to Atascadero after I'd been married for a few years, right next to the Wranglerette horse facilities. Nice area. I miss a lot of things about it, especially the stars, but I love the green here!
