an assortment of things.... sort of a grazing smorgasbord

daughter has a friend over, they had a plate of fruit- kiwi, tangerines and apples with string cheese and chicken soup later on. i got leftover casserole and i think hubby sneaked something from a fast food place while doing a quick run to Staples... since we ate early, i have a fresh loaf of bread baking for an evening snack.

I cooked this evening for tomorrow Sunday after church dinner. My son and his family come over and bring her elderly Aunt. We eat at his place next Sunday--we trade off. Everyone brings something. Tomorrow we are having Homemade Biscuits with Chunky Chicken Gravy over them, Stir Fried Veggies and a Homemade Apple Cake I devised myself today.....used 3 recipes to make ONE GOOD one--from apples I got from my neighbor this summer I put in the freezer.
