last night it was a French meat pie that i froze a few weeks ago... and fresh egg bread, courtesy of the bread machine.
i have all the stuff to make split pea, but i have some leftovers that need to be used up first... but then SPS is even better the next day.
i burned 2 batches last time i tried making it :doh the peas sucked the water up so fast! i'll try the crock pot this time!
its like that old wives tale about pregnant women not being able to make good pie crust. i decided they must have been on to something this past September when out of sheer frustration i discovered the virtues of Pillsbury's ready crust! :aha

Either ham leftovers or goulash leftovers. Probably goulash, since I had some of the ham for breakfast . . .
Anyone need a live-in cook? I'm tired of eating leftovers for ages . . .
