1lb of lean ground beef, 1 packet of gravy mix, sliced onion rings. Brown the ground beef, toss in the onion, mix gravy packet with water and add to the meat, and stir until gravy thickens. Simmer till onions are soft....or not. Do up the mashed taters. Serve the meat gravy on the mashed taters serve with salad and veggie of choice. Now comes the glop part YA MIX IT ALL TOGETHER ON YER PLATE AND CHOW DOWN. Most don't mix it all up but i still do, it is yummy. Guys like this hearty meat and taters dish alot and if you use instant taters it is a very fast meal to make. You can make variations in the gravy by adding canned maters and so on. Thats GLOP.:hehee
yum and easy, sounds a little like the hamburger gravy i made the other day, served over mashed potatoes. i was going to add corn, but we just had a corn/chicken/rice supper before that so i didn't.
thanks for the recipe, i like quick sloppy type comfort food dishes!

Hubbo bought one of those Stouffer's veggie lasagnas, so we will be having that tonight, and i might try making this chocolate pudding cake http://allrecipes.com/Recipe-Tools/Print/Recipe.aspx?RecipeID=26000&servings=16 which can be done in a crock pot....! (this means 6 hours of chocolatey-smelling goodness as it bakes)
