We're having a big family picnic and I know what some of the dishes will be. We're having fried chicken, mostaccioli with garlic bread, hot corn, and cole slaw. My older son made a couple of dips and picked up crackers and chips. (His wife has to work :() and I'm bringing 3 Lemon Icebox Pies. I'm certain my 12 year old granddaughter will bake brownies or cookies as she always does and my nephew's wife will bring something inedible.

Fancy grilled cheese: Gouda on french bread, mayo, spinach, tomato, cooked onions and mushrooms, avacado.
Mmmmmm, that sounds good. I love smoked gouda cheese.
Had spinach alfredo pizza with tomatoes and cheese sticks from Papa John's.

Went to DD"s and DSIL's house for a swim party. He's a great cook - whole smoked chickens and grilled rump roast. DD fixed potato salad and pasta salad. I took a fruit tray with strawberries, cantelope, apples and bananas and a mixture of chocolated chip pecan cookies and chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. DS brought chips and salsa. Fireworks at the township water way afterwoods - a great evening except it was still 96 degrees on the way home from the fireworks.
