Today we're meeting a group of folks out at a local lake. The back of my truck is full of food for a bbq. Don't know if we'll actually sit down to dinner tonight, but the day should be fun and I'll get some grilled burgers! :drool We'll be ice fishing for trout and snowmobiling.

I have an 8 pound picnic butt portion ( think ham butt portion but not cured) in the oven right now and it will be ready just in time for supper along with some fried okra and baked potato. At 8 pounds I will be having meals and snacks off of it for the next week or more, and freeze some too.

I cooked lunch today instead of dinner since we were going to church early this evening. We had breaded pork chops, baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. The lunch was a little late since I fixed it after the morning service.

Hamburgers mixed with onion soup mix and a little Worcestershire sauce on this new sour dough cracked wheat bread and chips.
I think the company that makes the cracked wheat sour dough is St. Louis, that bread is great.

I was tired from a 3 day ordeal of switching from regular cable TV to digital cable.
What a nightmare. They should replace everyone that works in their office.
I miss regular cable TV because I like to watch one show and tape another.
