That sounds like a wonderful and healthy and hearty soup. Do you ever put beets in it?
Nope, not with this soup. When I make Summer Borscht I use a couple beet roots and all the greens I can get my hands on.

Roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoe's, stuffing, and spinach romaine salad.
Sounds good :heh
We're going to a covered dish church picnic and taking fruit sald with fresh strawberries, bananas and blueberries. The church is providing hamburgers.

Chicken in cream gravy, mashed taters, fresh veggie of some sort. (asparagus) Also warm from the oven chocolate chip and walnut cookies.

Too bad we live on opposite ends of the continent. You could invite me over and I would do my part to help so you wouldn't have to eat all that terrible food all by yourself. I mean, if really called on I could even eat all of it for you. Just offerin' ta help, ya know. :hehee

We're having stroganoff made with ground turkey instead of beef and a fresh salad with young spring green mix, spinach, avocado and tomatoes.

Someday in the near future I'm hoping all of us can get together for a huge potluck dinner.
Even glorified bodies will need good food.

Yours sounds good too, I haven't made stoganoff for a real long time.
Can you imagine what a pot luck dinner we can all have after rapture.

Sandy, the basic mix I use is from a box :lol2. I haven't made it from scratch in years.
