What's For Dinner?

We had red beans and rice, cornbread, and squash casserole. Our church has started a garden with 10x20 plots for anyone who wants them. They are able to now give fresh vegetables to the people who come to our food pantry. They give the extras to us.( It was the best squash we've ever had.) So fresh.

What a week! Last night, our younger son invited us out for dinner in celebration of his promotion and pay raise. Tonight, our older son invited us out for dinner to celebrate my husband's and my birthdays which took place late last month. The celebration was a little late, but we still enjoyed it. So, I had fajitas last night at Chilli's and pizza tonight at our favorite pizza place.

Blueberry buttermilk pancakes tonight with lotsa butter and syrup. Needed some comfort food. :lol2

Tonight we had open faced hot turkey sandwiches with gravy. Tomorrow I'm gonna grill some burgers.
