Here (http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/red_beans_and_rice/) is the recipe I use, except I use Andouille sausage instead of the ham shanks.
Tonight I went to a tapas restaurant and had ratatouille, ravioli caprese, and gourmet macaroni and cheese. :heh

Two of my very best friends in the whole wide world took me out to dinner tonight for a belated celebration of my birthday which took place last weekend while I was away on vacation. They also bought me flowers, a birthday card and a gift card to buy an e-book for my Nook. I was totally surprised. I knew we were going to have dinner together tonight, but I didn't know we were celebrating my birthday. We ate a Cracker Barrel and I had the roast beef.

Taking wife to a restaurant called the "Turtle Club". They serve prime rib and prawns... I like their salad bar.

I just finished eating pasta salad and Tyson's Anytizer chicken bite things. :hehee The pasta salad is just Bertolli's tri-color pasta, bacon ranch dressing, and peas. So simple but so good! :drool
