A Chinese lady here at work gave me a bunch of wild fiddleheads. They have a slightly bitter taste that reminds me of asparagus.
I chopped them into 2-inch segments. Blanched them in boiling water then shocked them in an ice bath then drained them.
I added some sliced extra-firm tofu, chopped scallions and some sliced fresh mushrooms.
Then I dressed the salad with some fresh lime juice, chili oil and sesame oil.

i love fiddleheads. i usually just saute them in butter, but your salad sounds nice.
i'm making baked barbeque chicken and broccoli. nothing special

Salad for me...romaine, blue cheese, toasted almonds, chicken or turkey and a homemade vinaigrette. Leftover Baked sketti for the men.

I ate pretzels when I got home...then I had some mac and cheese...pretty soon I'm heading for the microwave popcorn. I don't think my eating is healthy tonight...

Chicken, with sauted red onion & red peppers, cheese tortellini and greek salad.
Mars bar for dessert. :)
