History, all levels and interpretaions of history, 10.000 ft views, microscope views, views of outsiders, views of insiders, views of idiots and sages. After a while the truth becomes clear.
After History I enjoy philosophy. The process of examining truth and it's components is very telling.
I was going to mention philosophy, that, and strengthening critical thinking. It is interesting to read the best man can offer, and see the glaring holes within it. You realize just how wise the scriptures are, and how man has nothing to offer.
Poppy, I am a Bible geek.
That's all I've got on my menu. :pound
Generally, these days I have pretty limited comprehension and low energy, so after work, housekeeping, God Time (pray and Bible Study), and a little internet, I've got nothing left!
All parts of the body work together as one. :thumb

Its not as silly as you may think at first glance.
God created it all, but most of the 'fiddly bits' arent discussed in Scripture. QM, along with Cosmology and Relativity makes attempts to do just that.
Hoot, never meant implied it was silly; I spend a large chunk of my free time currently studying Quantum Mechanics. ;) I actually find there is a lot in the current research that makes a lot of scriptural sense, and has "spiritual" implications. :nod
Thanks everyone for your thoughts; keep 'em coming if you think of any more! :hat
:agree From what little I can understand, it's so fascinating to augment my Bible reading.
These concepts help my understanding about God and Heaven being outside of time/space and clears up issues that are time/space related, how a one-time crucifixion of Jesus pays for our sins, how reality is many more dimensions than we experience on earth, how God can be sovereign but man still have free will - those things and so much more.

All the suggestions given here are very valid. But may I suggest that you go before the Lord and ask Him to be your Teacher? That is what I have done, and what He came up with on an ongoing basis is the best teaching I have ever had from anyone. I have been saved for more than 45 years, and have had a lot of teaching in that time. Books, tapes, cd's, online video and audio, you name it I have studied it. If you are willing, He can keep you busier than you want to be, just give Him a chance.

* One of my favorite examples of this is Jonah being inside a whale for three days (Jonah 1:1-17, 2:1-10). A similar, but more modern example occurred in 1895. A man named James Bartley was swallowed by a whale. About a day and a half later, his fellow whalers caught that whale. When the whalers cut the whale open, they found their shipmate inside--still alive. Since in the ancient Hebrew customs even a partial day was counted as a whole day, Bartley could have been inside that whale as long or longer than Jonah.1

As is pointed out by Supermod, we are all different parts of the one body. Good stuff. I also think you have your priorities worked out :thumb
