All workers are entitled to a fair wage. This is biblical.

To make up for the wages, they illegals get welfare, rent subsidies, free education, free medical, something called wic, and energy assitance.

They need to put Americans to work, shut down the unions, then maybe the American car and steel industries can compete..

Now the environmentalists, want to shut off the water to farms, in Calif, because of smelt fish.

Along with dealing with employers withholding pay and threatening to turn them in, daily risks of being arrested and taken away from your family, etc. etc. :fear

While I'm not "for" illegal immigrants, whom can blame them? Our government encourages the situation with the incentive system we have in place, afterall. Doesn't everyone strive to better themselves and their families? Its just a shame.. it can't be done on a more equal' honest footing :tsk

As for putting Americans to work... have you looked at the unemployment figures? Seems to be we're doing pretty darn well in that regard. Pff.. you're right, unions bite, who on earth is willing to make contracts? Pff, no one should have to abide by what they agreed on.. thats just not "fair" :tsk

Decent vehicles? Have you looked at the reliability ratings the past few years? The domestics have made massive strides in improvements! In fact... they've outpaced Toyota and Honda in a few categories :thumbup

As for good on gas, they make them just as well as the japanese. Look at the research GM in particular has put forth into the hybrids and all that jazz, great stuff!

As for the big ol' suv's, sports cars, and macho'machines... :nod fun stuff, thats what most Americans want. I know its what I want, and I voted for with my dollars:thumbup Hmm... notice how Honda, Toyota, and Nissan are all jumping n the big ol' truck n' suv market now... :nod
