There's an answer given to this kind of thing, not just porn but other temptations, and also, a lack of desire to do good things. That I've heard given so often there's a tendency to think of it as same old, but it isn't.

We look backwards to the cross, where Christ the price for our sin, every sin we ever commit was laid on him, every time you lust, that's another pain laid on our lord on the cross. Think of the cross, think of what he did for you, don't pain him further. And we look forward to the new creation, the future we have been promised a place without sin. If we're looking forward to a place without sin, how absurd is it to be sinning now?

With that focus held firmly, fighting sin and striving to do what is good becomes easier.

First off, I commend you for coming in here and asking for advice and all those that have given advice through their own struggles.

Personally, (add it sickens me to even type this), I was porn surfing one night when everyone was in bed asleep... and I accidentally came upon a page that had child pornography on it. I just stared at it.. and then went and threw up. It made me so sick. It's making me sick telling you about it. That was THE last time I ever looked at any kind of porn on the net or anywhere.

Someone mention thinking about how nasty, disgusting and perverted are these people who make this porn... that's it exactly.

Ugh... sorry... cant type anymore... I've already started shaking with rage and disgust again.
