Sitting outside today on my porch, not in a swing, or a chair, but down on the actual concrete enjoying the sun and the wind. Here, on our land/farm, which I've named Windhome (Acts 2:2 and John 3:8) if there is any wind or breeze at all, it's all around our house. Today was no different, in fact, because of the weather, the wind is howling right now, but pleasantly so.
I'm just setting there, soaking up the sun and feeling the wind, and praising God!! For no reason at all, and for every reason there could possibly be! I was just enjoying myself, and taking in God's creation and grinning my head off, so thought I'd share.
Two of the names of God were on my mind; El Roi, and Jehovah-shammah. El Roi, "thou God seest Me." It's a great comfort to think about that name, He sees me, little ol' me, no matter where I find myself, He's got an eye on me. And, Jehovah-shammah, "The LORD is there." He doesn't only see me, He's actually there with me. The wind was roaring through the trees, causing them to bend, and the leaves to dance, and He's there in the midst of it all, and I can't help but praise God, and His grace that one can feel Him there, and I praise God too, that my brothers and sisters will understand that, with no big long explanation needed.
So, I'm simply praising God with great joy in my heart!!

Yesterday, I also felt like I was soaring on the Wind! Was heading to get the oil changed when I landed at McDonalds and the Lord surprized me with a "Divine encounter"...... It was like He lifted me up, taking me where He will, when He will--His will. Then, He sets my feet upon holy ground, and says, "Occupy." To make a long story short (nutshell)....something happened to show me how fast my circumstances can change! Do not resist the wind, for it insists upon change and many will be "unstuck" by its forcefulness. No matter what circumstances we are in, the Lord wants to lift us up and take us out. Change is coming. The winds are coming and the seasons are changing. The winds are coming to move and to shake those things that have been still. The winds are going to make some that have been so comfortable in their positions move. He has not called anyone to become complacent and comfortable to the point of dormancy. When the winds of change come, go with the flow of the Holy Spirit. Let's let the Lord's breath blow on our garden!
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from or where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:8

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q220/sturner03/Nature/anileavesfallingsm9.gif ...a bit of confirmation for you....
I was outside a couple of days ago and the wind was blowing...it was quite gusty in fact. The wind was catching the leaves that are turning on the trees and just carrying them away. Even the leaves that had fallen to the ground were being picked up and blown about. It was impressed upon me that this is indeed the time we are in....the season is changing....the wind of the Spirit is blowing....and there are going to be many caught up in the wind to be moved to a different place or position. I will also add that some of the leaves just seemed to float upon the winds and softly land in new resting spots while others were caught up in rather violent whirlwinds and deposited quite abruptly to new spots. Oh yes, the wind of the Spirit is blowing and change is upon us....may we float high upon the currents and softly land in our new resting places!

Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
