Johnny Cash is one of my favorite artists. The man was not only a country legend but in the latter part of his life he became a true Christian.

The movie Walk the Line never shows that but his devotion to Christ was apparent in the end of his life and many songs he put out before he died showed that.

Here is one called The Man Comes Around. The video ties into Revelations and Johnnys lyrics are directly taken from Revelations.

Just thought I'd share it with you. :)

i love that song, his cover of 'HURT' is beautiful too...i haven't heard the original by NIN but i'm sure it can't be as good as hearing CASH sing. i have all his American albums & his 2 live albums from prison :thumb

recently on the Metclub board (MetallicA's Fan Club) someone posted a thread about Johnny where Christians were attacking him...i try & represent Jesus on this board (& annoy a few people in the process :D )

I've always like CASH. He was an honest Christian who loved Jesus but still struggled with issues.

Yeah, that is a powerful song.. Hurt. It seems in the very last of his life, he was very much reflecting on his life and God.

I too have liked most of his music. He was a true music legend. I hope he is with God now. RIP
