I love Allison Krauss!!! Great voice and great music. I just love old school bluegrass!!! I guess its the Kentucky roots coming out.

Big.. new fan of bluegrass. :) I try to find good bluegrass festivals to go to Virgnia. Glass to see someone else appreciates it too.

yeah, my dad grew up in Kentucky so he got me interested in it. I just love some good dobro music! :lol2

youd love the ISAACS.. check them out....they are jewish believers in JESUS who have a great christian bluegrass band. they call their music "jewgrass :hehee

I really like that song. I have it in MP3 format. I think it was in the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou" too.

Rae that was from O Brother Where Art Thou.. one of my favorite movies.
Its a beautiful scene where all of those people wearing white robes are walking through the woods down to the river for Baptism and they are all singing that song.

I know some may think OBWAT may have questionable material negative to Christianity but actually I think the characters who portray Christianity negatively.. such as John Goodman, who plays the deceiving Bible salesman, ends up getting his judgement from God in the movie.. (without giving to much away about the movie)
Besides that.. the Coen Brothers always portray local color of culture very well. This movie capture the 1930s in the deep south very well. :)

Some of it could be considered negative but a lot of it wasn't. I did like the movie. I also have the "I'll Fly Away Song". It is good too
