I was talking to a co-worker tonight about the storms etc., and said there should probably be another big earthquake in a week or two the way things are going. I don't think I would like to live along any coastlines between now and the Rapture.

I would be more worried about an earthquake in someplace that no one is expecting one. I guess that living in CA we are aware of the danger, it is still scary but we are assuming one could happen anytime. If I lived on the coastline I might be a tad more worried, but if you live in those areas you know the risks. Again, I would watch for the areas that no one assumes are an eq threat. That's just my opinion though.

The Bible tells us that there will be earthquakes in divers place, meaning areas we least expect. Everyone seems to think California or along the coastal regions will be the one that ends all the world. I don't think it will be in California, but I do feel it will be along the Mississippi River, like one hit in 1811/12 period where over 4000 people were killed. It could be in the middle of the Mid Eastern region.

I have to disagree with this slightly. The term 'divers' is poikilosin Greek, and means uncertainty, and various.
So, it will be in various places......places we do not expect could fall into that category, but so will the places that we know to have earthquakes.

Earthquake swarm strikes Yellowstone
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. - Sixteen small earthquakes with magnitudes up to 2.7 shook Yellowstone National Park last week.
The quakes began Monday, just before midnight, and continued until Wednesday.
Bob Smith, a University of Utah professor, says the quakes occurred on the southern edge of a volcano caldera at the center of Yellowstone.
The volcano last erupted 70,000 years ago.

I can't remember. Do the earthquakes trigger the volcanos or the volcanos trigger the earthquakes? Either way this is something to watch.
