....so it's getting better??
....I read that they are afraid that the fires are going to merge???
....is the news making it worse???
....How bad is it really?
.....my mother -in- law said that it's only the rich people....they can afford it....(she's an alcoholic, so you have to understand she isn't always so nice)...
....but I told her, it isn't all rich people....I pray for all of you....this is horrible!

You are correct. The majority of people in southern California aren't rich, it's just that they've lived in the same houses for decades, and housing values have gone up so far that now the same houses they live in they actually couldn't afford to buy. I moved from Arizona with my roommate to live with her in her grandmother's house in Long Beach for a couple of years. The house was built in the late 30's, early 40's, and was in a very deteriorated condition....we had a small backyard...yet, the neighborhood was nice and so the property value was quoted at around half a million dollars, when I was living there a year and a half ago. :fear (I'm REALLY glad I relocated to Denver when I did! :fear:fear)

Thankfully there have only been two deaths!
Possessions shouldn't possess you.
Having said that, they are in my prayers - this is horrible!

what is going on!!! seems strange to me...more signs!!!!!!!!!!!!:prayRepeat from a few years ago as well as the episode around 15 years ago which was the worst (which even burnt houses in my area). Only, this one is going to be brief yet strong, from what I heard when the first fire broke out the winds should be dieing down by tomorrow. Potentially, next year could be worse if it does rain a lot this winter as they have predicted.
If the whackooo environmentalist (with the help of our government) would let us get out there, take dominion over the earth (as were are suppose to do) and cut away all the dead stuff, we would not be having these problems.

yes it's a lot better now,, the winds have died down in Orange County. There are still some homes being threatend in Santiago Canyon
I remember when the fire trucks were right across the street from my apartment.. I went up to the fire fighters to ask them if the fire is coming our way, or if they set up here as a precaution. He said, the fire was here but we put it out now.. Thank God, it happened so fast. My wife started crying, she thought we were gonna lose everything. I almost canceled my trip to church.. But with the good news from the firefighters, we still went.

My brother was a smoke jumper... he agrees with you completely on this.

So glad to hear it's getting better. The news had me praying like crazy last night for God's mighty hand to put it out... :pray
I just wish the news would have focused on the real folks; so much was focused at least up here on the rich folks... Not that it's fun for them either; but they can afford to re-build the many others cannot..

Did anyone else see the ABC news special about the fires last night? There were showing these eerie fire tornadoes. :fear
I've never seen anything like that before in my life. First thing I thought is more end time signs. Come quickly Lord Jesus.
