Discernment

In another thread a poster mentioned God has blessed him with the ability to discern.

I'm a new Christian and I have never heard it put like this before but it makes complete sense. I've felt, even before I was a Christian, drawn to certain Christian things. For example, when I started my new job I just happened to become friends with a guy who just happened to be an awesome Christian. I really enjoyed the band OAR, which isn't considered a Christian band, but they have a lot of Christian lyrics etc....

I've found myself over and over being drawn to good and positive things and a lot of times Christian things....Have you guys had similiar experiences or is this just a coincidence that I'm looking into too much?:yeah

20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
