Heres a slight difference.


Islam denies the deity of Christ.

The Bible says anyone or anything that does that is of the Antichrist.

Even the RCC proclaims Christ is Lord.

All the diff in the world on that one point.

Does satan acknowledge the deity of Christ?

It says the devils also believe and tremble. Therefore, acknowledging and believing are clearly not enough.

"The devils also believe, and tremble" (James 2:19)

So, what is it that islam and catholicism do that sets them apart?

Who else denies the divinity of Jesus? There should be a list. In the end, all of these people will join together.

Athiests, Buddhists, Politicals (fascists and socialists), Hindus, Jews, Moslems, Satanists...etc.. Who else should be on the list?

Both have Mary on a pedestal. Both acknowlege Jesus. Catholics see Mary AND Jesus as sinless, so this Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible?--:surprised )

I could see a form of Islam melding with Catholicism-Emergent-PDL!

You are correct that the catholic Jesus is not ours. Theirs is either still hanging on a cross (gross), a baby on mommy's lap, or gets chewed to mush in a wafer, swallowed and expelled. Our Jesus sits at the right hand of God and is God.

As long as Catholics say that the Pope is God on Earth. And the rampant idolatry.

Though I think the nuns and priests have some of the biggest hearts in the world, I just think that they were misled.

But, BeenReady, the Roman Catholic Church does not say that the Pope is "God on Earth."
