How awful! :( I used to teach 2nd graders... they are so precious!!

Not to add insult to injury here, sometimes hangings are accidental. Maybe he had seen it on TV and was pretending and things went horribly wrong. :( Whatever the case, it's just heartbreaking.

Praying for the family. :pray

My husband's brother did the same thing. I can't remember how old he was (I think he was older than this) but he told me that his brother had been caught doing this before with his friends and they would hang themselves and then cut them loose so they would get a rush from the adrenaline the body produced. They think that he died because he was doing it alone.
If this was suicide, it scares me since my daughter is a 1st grader. I hope she feels close enough to me to tell me if things are spinning out of control to have to resort to this.

PLEASE come quickly LORD

The boy could've been playing with the mini-blind cords. But this is terrible none the less. It pains to lose someone this young. Very sad. :ohno
:praying for his family.

either that, or he is on antidepressant drugs. I have heard those things it worst for a child. He probably is being treated for depression, otherwise they would call it an accident than suicide.

I would say they are calling it a suicide because of the way he died. Now if it was something like the cord on the blinds, then yea it would be called an accident.

Definately heartbreaking.
