We are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, turns out when hubby turned off the breaker to the broken water heater, he also turned off the breaker to the dryer. So the dryer is not broken. Today the new water heater is installed.
In about three hours we can fight over who takes the first hot shower.:thumb
Praise the Lord. Hopefully next week the landlord will get the garage door fixed so we can use the generator if we have a power failure.

That's great news but I have to ask is it an electric hot water heater and an electric dryer that's on the same circuit?

yep, the hot water heat and the dryer are both electric and are on the same circuit. We just rent so we did not know.

okay this is discouraging. over 4 hours and no hot water:thinking Son is looking at book for the new hot water heater that we paid to install. I personally think we should call the repair man who installed it to, to come and see what is wrong. Will keep you updated. I sure hope I don't have to take a Ice cold shower before Church and yep in the morning the well water will be like ice.

We call the installer and he says it sounds like we got a bad unit. So I am warming water on the stove for washing up tonight. It will be Monday before Lowe's can replace it.
I am trying not to get upset, but this started last Saturday night and here it is 7 days later and no hot water. It is discouraging.
