i've been reading (very slowly :doh ) the gospel of John, and when i read John 5:28-30 i was like :twitch
28 "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. 30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
my Bible is an NIV, so that's why i used the above version :)
what do other RR people think?

I think it's ambiguous because it just speaks of the resurrection of the dead, not the circumstances in which that takes place or what happens to people still alive. However, it certainly seems compatible with the doctrine of the rapture.

Yes he is quoting this scripture;
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Except that those who have done evil will not rise to be condemned at the rapture.
