I want to start out first and foremost by thanking our Almighty Father in Heaven, and giving all glory to Him.
How my life has changed so because of Him. This is a difficult post for me because, since being saved, it has been easier to display emotion.
I'm sitting here, checking up here, and the Rapture Ready homepage, and feeling scared. Scared of what is too come. I felt very small, sitting here, wondering what's in store for us, and those around us, and the world. I'm so grateful He lives in me, for He felt my emotion, and steadied my mind with a soft tone, and told me not to worry. He would dry my tears.
I felt my spirit lift instantly. And out of the clear blue, I put on "Bridge over troubled water" by Simon & Garfunkel. (Here's looking at our brothers/sisters from the 60's) And the first words of the song told me all I needed to know, and that He was thinking of me, and I had to share that part with you all. I will post the 1st verse at the end of this post.
I want to thank Him from taking me from darkness to Light, for now I have nothing to be afraid of. I want to thank Him for sending the Savior to wash away my sins. I want to thank Him for bringing me to my new family, one that doesn't always agree, but we can always agree in glorifying His name.
I want to close by saying that I can't wait to meet our Lord in the air, so that I may cry, not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy with Him, for a meeting we are all waiting so anxiously for. Amen to all you. I love you all. And I can't wait to meet all you when we meet Him in the clouds, and make our way Home.
