So I came across some site that refered the Holy Spirit as Momma Wisdom. Has anyone heard this before? :scratch

Yes....from a jewish messianic rabbi.....they call their spiritual helper "mom"...BUT, the Holy Spirit is the very breath of God and He is definately male!
Do a search on kabalistic jews , the protocols of the elders of zion & you'll be amazed what you find there! (mom is not the Holy Spirit!)

I've never heard that term..
But God is not male or female.. I usually call my Father -- Father Daddy -- but i could use both.. My bio dad was both - so terminology is no significance..

Just my 2 cents.. :)

ok, so what is he? your bio dad is what? your father/mother? what are you tryin to say?

Well i am trying to say; he is a male if you want to get tecnical; but he was both a mother and father to me -- as my mother was not around. And i suppose that's how i look at God too; he is both to me - he fills the spot of being both.

I of course call Him Father/Daddy -- but i don't consider God to be male the way we classify male on earth.. We wont even be genders like that in heaven. Does that make it more clear?

How I view God.... in His Word He says "Let's make man in our image"... since God created man and then created woman from man's rib... we all look like God whether we are male or female. As another poster stated... God is neither male nor female....He is a Spirit! Right?

The traits of God is more male than female. Right?


I too have never heard this phrase.. it sort of boggles my thinking when people refer to earth as Mother earth... etc..... :doh
