I'm not sure I know what side of the tribulation we will see the rapture--still studying. However, I will be taking no mark because I think the Bible is pretty clear about that. If we see any tribulation, we will do without--God's people have been persecuted since the beginnning...I'm still not sure why Americans think they are off the hook...
I don't sit and worry about it--make sure your heart is in Him, pray--he will give us strength to deal with whatever comes---all of these things are temporary. I just keep thinking about the big picture...

It isn't a salvation issue. Believers will be raptured whether they believe in a pre-trib rapture, a post-trib rapture, or no rapture at all.

I agree with that statement. I do know the difference in the different views of end time scenarios but a question popped up while I was thinking about this thread and decided I wanted to discuss it. It's something I've been mulling over the last couple days................I think I will start another thread later this evening .

So, would it fall under the heading of apostacy?

I moved this thread to MC & R earlier today because of the publication mentioned in the OP coming from the 7th Dayers. They're a cult and we give no credence to their writings.

Anddra, is preaching a post tribulation rapture a false teaching?

on this side of the fence it's the wrong teaching
there are plenty of post trib message boards
we are one of the few pretrib boards and are gonna stay this way :wave

Buzz, I need to start another thread. I jumped in the middle of this thread with thoughts that were not really related to the original post. I don't hold the post trib rapture view. My questions have to do with false teachings relating to the different end time views and how they relate to teaching in general.

IMHO America was born and bread for two VERY important purposes

1. So we could get The Gospel Message out to ALL the world. Yes other countries do help, but i think we are blessed so this could happen without OUR Gov getting in the way.

2. We are the mid-wife to Israel. God used us to help fullfill The Valley of Dry Bones prophecy in Ez 37.

In this country God knows who are His children and who is not.

Rev 3:10 is crystal clear

10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

So is 1Thess 5:9-10

9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

I don't understand how one can call someone a cult because they observe the 7 th Day Sabbath. The God of the Old Testament, the one who gave Moses the 10 commandments was none other than the one who became Jesus Christ.

The fourth Commandment was " to remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy" This was the 7th Day Sabbath. That is the same as calling our Lord and Savior " a Cult originazer". God neve installed something or put somethiong into being, later saying oops, I made a mistake and change it. Man changes, God does not.

The Sabbeth IS saturday. Always has been, always will be.

We choose to worship on Sunday because that is the day Jesus rose from the dead.

There are threads on the board that deal with this issue. Please do not derail this thread, which is primarily about the rapture. The only connection with the SDA cult was the magazine where the material was found. the fact that they often tend to hide who they are in their promotional material speaks volumes.

Please note our posting rules ...

[06] Do not promote false teachings ... [including] 7th Day (Sabbath) keeping ...

[24] No Cultic material - Teachings that do not agree with Scripture are not to be promoted here. This includes, but is not limited to ... Seventh Day Adventist. ... Those who adhere to these beliefs are welcome to discuss Christianity in the Apologetics forum. (Galatians 1:6-8)

If you are a Seventh Day Adventist, then please restrict your posts to Apologetics.
