I think that would be the most basic thing to do, yes. But then, that's just me.

I have an idea.

Lets make the MEN mods/admis deal with it. :thumb

Todd, I think you need to get a job writing greeting cards for Hallmark.

Humm, What is the pay like at Hallmark?
Can I work at home?

I don't see why not. Most people do their best work while sitting at home with a cuppa coffee and their fuzzy bunny slippers. Seems perfect for you!

I really think its a BAD idea suggesting Todd wear Fuzzy Bunny slippers. He has some unresolved anger issues with the rabbit family.

:spew I forgot about that.

*lisa envisions Todd attempting to club his fuzzy bunny slippers to death... while on his own feet*

I just went to www.oriental.com and used Jesus, and then Bible as search words, this year I'm found 6" tote bags that say "Smile Jesus loves you" (I usually get the ziploc sandwich bags that say "Smile Jesus loves you, but they never hold enough stuff!) and harmonicas, yo yos, kazoos and safety pops that all say "Smile Jesus loves you" and Bible shaped pencil sharpeners, Bible verse fortune cookies, scripture smarties candy, Bible verse buttermints, golden rule rulers and Bible verse stickers and pencils. Then I went over to CBD and picked out some good tracts (I usually use Chick but I'm trying to get a little variety going) and some Bibles, this year I'm doing an NASB, 32 for $64 and some NKJV for $1 each, and some $.99 children's books and also some Max Lucado booklets, this year John 3:16, to hand out to any Moms that venture near the porch.
So instead of trying to hand the kids a Bible and a ziploc bag of candy, tracts and little toys, I can hopefully put everything in the tote bags. It's especially awkward when kids have pumpkins, the Bible won't fit and the ziploc bag barely will and I have to just hand it to them, and their hands are already full, so this year I can just hand them the tote bags.
Last year we had 100 kids! I think the word is out about our house, I overheard some kids say "This is the BEST house, every year!" last year.
I love, love love Halloween! The fun part is still to come, buying the chocolate, stuffing the tote bags, and picking out a costume. What other day do dozens of children come to your house for you to witness to them?
OH, and CBD has some little leatherette Bibles with just some Bible verses, that might be good when the real Bibles run out.
If anyone has a good 10% off CBD coupon let me know I've got a free shipping there and a free shipping at oriental if anyone wants one.
The only thing more fun than Halloween is Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child, and the church we're going to now doesn't do that. :tsk I guess it's for the best, I spend too much on those.
It's almost Halloween!!! (Well, just over 2 months.) Then we can get excited about Christmas!
I wish I were teaching a Sunday School class. I miss making my class little Halloween bags and little Easter baskets and stuff. Our new church is too big and impersonal.
