I was just checking it out again. It's a few merged threads, IIRC, starts out with Halloween but at about page 7 (?) it gets more into Christmas and Easter. Get some coffee! :lol2

I had some rabbit chew off the heads of my pea plants, so I'm still fuming.
I can lend you my cat...every so often we get a rabbit head left at the back door. :lol2 Sampson does love to hunt...
ETA: The people who celebrate Christmas the most, I have noticed, are heathens. My heathen friends decorate every square unch of their house and throw big parties.

Thank you, I just wanted some uninformed Christians to ask themselves these questions. I am guilty for involving myself with these elements my whole life and never as much as raised an eyebrow. Just went along with tradition. Used to love chopping my own trees down.

I'm not a heathen, and I love Christmas! I try to keep its true purpose central in my own personal practices, but I enjoy the festive aspects too.

To me, celebrating Christmas is to honor the Lord's birth (since we don't know the exact date) as did the angels and the Wise Men, etc. Had He not been born into our sin-sick world, He wouldn't have died to save us.
It has nothing to do with decorating the house and big parties.

1master - I know you can't PM yet, but I was wondering where you got the information about trees? Do you mind saying here? Otherwise, I'll wait until you can PM.
