Problem with Conferences

I live in Omaha and I know how you feel.


Other than the marriage conferences and concerts that churches here seem to have every other week

we dont get conferences like the folks in California or Minnesota or Tulsa Oklahoma get

However luckily we have Lee Strobel speaking here in a few weeks at

at least it is something we get here in Omaha other than non-stop marriage conferences and concerts

But we get NO CONFERENCES HERE. NONE.......NOT EVER!

NADA.......NOTHING..........never!

That's the PROBLEM.

I agree. I BTW would love to see Joel Rosenberg or Chuck Missler or other speakers like them to speak at church here in my town of Omaha Nebraska sometime but I highly doubt it will happen anytime in the near future

Well, if your churches could get together you guys could have them come I bet. The problem with my area is they (the churches) refuse to work together.......been going on like that here for years.

Hope you can work something out for your area.

The Problem with these Conferences is that they are so far away from where I live in Pennsylvania. They rarely ever come here and if they do it's way in the East and we're in the WestCentral Part.. ...where no one ever comes!


Are you able to purchase video/audio recordings that ministries usually make available after conferences? Sure it's not the same as being there but it you can still hear/see the teaching. I'm sorry that living where you do does not afford you the opportunity to attend conferences, etc but I really do not see any positive purpose to this thread. Maybe it's just giving you a forum to vent? :scratch I'm not sure what you're hoping to "hear" here. I say that with love in Christ that it may not come across that way. :hug
