I usually try to say the same thing pretty much so I know im not saying anything not fundamentally sound...
I First give them the court system parable then I say
So thats why 2000 years ago, God the Son, Jesus Christ, Fully God yet Fully human came down to live a sin free life just to be put upon a cross with all the sin we just talked about and he was crucified with that, and he died. but on the 3rd day he rose, and when he rose he not only conquered sin but death and romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord(you follow him) and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (for your sins right) you will be saved. The verse I like is Eph 2:8-9. It says For by Grace you are saved through faith, not of yourselves, it is a gift from God not of works, so no one should boast. So to sum it up, true salvation according to the Bible is that we need to repent, which means to turn away from sin and by doing that we put faith and accept what Christ did on the cross and by putting faith and accepting what Christ did for us on the cross, were confessing that were sinners and we need Him to fulfill the law for us. Once we do this we are baptized by the Holy Spirit and are made into new creation, so we will not only wana worship God because he created every detail of us but when we as humans messed up he came down to be crucified for us when He should have been worshipped.
So this brings me to my last point, Jesus talked about Hell more the Heaven because of its danger, in Luke 16 he actually gives a huge example of that...with that said tonight if you were to die in a car wreck...have you truly turned away from your sin and put your faith in the savior?
And then I give them a gospel track and leave.
I wana know how others give the gospel message and I wana hear constructive criticism on what I need to add or take away from what I am saying, am I using the word repent right?
Thanks

I like the initial part, that being if you were to stand before God, what would you say? It is a very good beginning actually, for no other reason then to prepare their mind for receiving the solution. Whether they truly receive Christ is not up to us, but we can help out. People are not stupid in this sense, yet they will grasp for the answer if they do not know it. The parable of the tax collector and the Pharisee immediately come to mind, and you can see what they are thinking by their response. Either some form of self justification, or some form of I don't deserve to be here.
From their response, you can go into different directions. Its not a rote situation. Perhaps it was only your role to pose the question and let it burn on their conscience for a while? Unless you're guided by what to say by the Spirit, I suppose you (we) can still be effective. Paul took as much time as was afforded him, and that they would listen, to reasoning with them daily from the scriptures. This is where who you are speaking to comes into play. Make no mistake, if it is a personal acquaintance, they will watch what you do as much as, if not more, than what you say. Just some thoughts.
p.s, I forgive you for liking the team that whomped mine. :heh

Way of the Master sells a DVD actually showing you how they are doing it. Law to the proud, grace to the humble. It's worth the cost to order the DVD and watch it! ;) It really blessed me.

So true(see bold) - friends, aquaintances, neighbors, co-workers and relatives. It's different than street witnessing in that aspect. Although we must speak to them also our actions will be watched by this group closely and those actions can cancel out or affirm our words.

Sounds good to me!
I generally ask them if the know what was so important about the cross, and explain that Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities, He bore our griefs, and by His stripes we were healed. I think its important for them to understand Christ bearing our punishment on the cross.
Once I explain this, I ask them if they know how to partake of this Grace, and then use Ray's parachute analogy. If your on a plane and you know you have to jump and there is a parachute under the seat, what would you do? You'd take the parachute! And you wouldn't just say you believe in the chute would you...you'd put it on, just like it says in Romans 13:14, put on the Lord Jesus Christ (His righteousness). Saying you believe it and putting your trust in it are two different things. You can fall 32,000 feet saying you believe the parachute all you want but that won't save you, you've got to put you faith and trust into Gods Saving Grace and strap yourself in!
Many times you can see the wheels working after this analogy. Also, the more you witness, the better you will get at. The only other advice I would offer is don't forget to pray (in your mind) while speaking with them. God will lead you. He knows what their hangup issues are whereas you may not. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you each and every time!
May God bless you in your efforts to share the Gospel!!!

You can watch WOTM tv episodes on Youtube and Google Video (or whatever it's called)... They're great resources. I watch them from time to time just to brush up on my skills! :)
But it sounds like you're hitting all the high points, so good job!! God bless you're efforts in stepping out of your comfort zone and reaching the lost!! It's amazing and God will use it!! Just think.. it's a win-win-win situation!!

ThanksI use a civil law comparison to confront people..I tell then that we have a civil law system that we all have to abide by, and those who break civil law must be brought to justice, and spend time in prison..Then I tell them God has a set of laws that we must abide by (the 10 commandments)..Then I tell them to mesure themselves by the commandmnets, and tell them since they have broken them, that they would not have the righteousness that God requires to inherit the kingdom of heaven.....I tell them if they die in there sins, they would wind up in hell, then I tell them hell can be likened unto an eternal prison for those who have broken Gods laws, and for unrepentant sinners.....Then I present the gospel to them I tell them that they must have a perfect sin offering for there sins, and tell them that Christ died on the cross, and shedd his blood as a sin offering for there sins, and tell them if they will repent, (to confess, and forsake there sins, and put there faith, and trust in Jesus Christ, that God will forgive them, and that they would be made right with God).
