You Were Warned

Alone in your room you sit angry, scared, and you cry
You realize now the life you lived was a lie

What you thought you knew and those you did trust
Have lied to you - now you know this is a must

You were warned time and time again
The world will not go on someday it will surely end

You were told of Jesus and of God
You rolled your eyes and would sometimes nod

Did you believe when you had the chance
Now those that did are gone, it's a different circumstance

You were told of a war, you were told of a time
Satan would surface and control all of mankind

You were supposed to believe in God and his son
Follow his rules, Follow his love

Yet you doubted, you partied, you questioned and scoffed
Everyones' gone, your left behind and you feel so lost

It seems they were right, they weren't nuts after all
Now to survive, now that you've missed the call

You still have a chance before the final day
When Jesus comes once more for judgement day

Don't blow it my friend give your life over to God
Or once again you may here "You Were Warned".

"they weren't nuts after all" with thanksgiving comming up I will see my sister and her family and while I can't be sure if they are saved or not ( they say they believe in JESUS, but I do not see the "change" in them) but they do think I am nuts to believe in the rapture. I am praying the HOLY SPIRIT will give me the right words. Thank you for this poem.
