Now don't get me wrong here. I understand you mods/admins have a full time job here.

I guess my question is how do you know when to close a person's account down on their lack of faith and many post/or how to tell if they are real or not? Do you know the hurt that they have been through for maybe the many questions they have asked here? I see nothing wrong with asking. Where is your patience here and when do you decide to shut them out?

The only reason I am asking is because I never have time to sign on here and I did tonight, and I got a pm(sure you will look as some mods do read pm's, so they are not really private on boards. That is sad) from someone that felt they needed this board for help and you shut him/her out for doubts. I did not know that Jesus would give up on too many questions. I searched this posters questions.

I do think sometimes that this board might be like an 'except thing' for some reaching out and maybe they needed more mercy and had no friends or a church, so they came here and got the boot, so to say..

Please don't boot me for this post! Some people was taught so much legalism , that they can not even comprehend grace on their own life and judgement for watching Sunday night football.... that the last thing they need is for an on-line Christian Community to 'kick em when they are down.'

Curious as I am sure noone will respond to this post...(or get deleated):rolleyes

Please. I want a honest answer. Thanks...

Well, It is not sad here.
I can reveal to you in honesty we do not read the PM's of our active members.
We do not have any PM reading software installed here.
We provide our sincere members with several chances of clearing up misunderstandings and looking at their personal circumstances through their point of view.
We even go out of our way with several including reinstating membership, providing 0 point warnings (which should usually be 1 point infractions) and deleting posts rather than deleting the member.
Legalism can get in the way when we have to deal with legal issues.
We have several members that absorb our 'modding time' with self fulfilled invitations to be kicked until both parties have exhausted any other alternative than realizing some do not fit it well with the mission of this message board.
And we do not tolerate others making a mess all over this board at the expense of our responsible members.
I sent you a PM for the rest of your questions

Thank you Buzz for explaining and the edit and the pm and that you opened this thread up again. I was not sure why you closed it in the first place, but now I know. :)

The only question I would have is this..

Legalism can get in the way when we have to deal with legal issues.

Are we even on the same page or are we misunderstanding what legalism truely means? Thanks.

And now that I am here. Will Tom give me back posting rights in the 2008 election threads? I realize I went off on a pm, but at least I did it there and not public. I see many posters that would say the same as me and I do not understand why my "right" was removed. I thought it was biased and unfair. He never sent me a pm back!! Just pushing. :)

Thank you buzz again for just being real! That is huge!:)

I was playing with the word
I was referring to legal issues such as copyrights, stalking, suicide threats, etc..
Yes, I know what Biblical legalism is.....
