I am very content, and do go to breakfast, lunch, dinner, movies, plays, anywhere, etc. by myself or with female friends without a problem and have fun. I even go to lunch at work with male friends. But, my hearts desire is to be married. To share the rest of my life with him whom I can freely love and freely receive love and reciprocate my desires. I want someone to care where I am, if I made it home, what I want for dinner, how my day was, just call to say hi, send me flowers, cuddle me, take care of me, spend the rest of his life with me, etc. I know the Lord does all of this very well. He is sufficient, but not tangible. I have learned that it's okay to have godly desires. And this is. You may say this sounds like a fairytale, but I know it is possible. I am not decieved, I know that it will be work and different than being single. That is why I am waiting on the Lord.

It's not out of lust, but need. I need a mate for strength as well. And no, I am not in sin. Sisters, will you pray :angelcutie and agree with me? I Believe.

I desire to meet a single, saved heaven bound, marriage minded man. A man who TOTALLY loves God with all of his heart and fellowships with Him. Just knowing about Him is insufficient. A man, whom by character, is gentle, loyal, loving, caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, kind, fun, joyful, humble, content, respectful, trusting, confident (not prideful), spiritually strong and mentally balanced. Who's naturally healthy and believes in healing. A provider, protector, and willing to give his life for me. Will love me as he loves himself and as Christ loves the Church and gave Himself for it. Will receive all of my love and put me first after Christ. One who's financially stable, has good credit and pays his bills on time. Pays tithes and give offerings with great enthusiasm. Will always speak well to me and of me, will honor me, and bathe me with the washing of the water of the Word. Attends and serves in church regularly. Willing to equally submit, coupled with godly compromise in a relationship. Will forgive and forget my mistakes. Will intercede for me. Gentle and very passionate (in marriage only!). This man is my husband. He's looking and, praying for me. He is blessed of the Lord and will obtain favor when he finds me.
Abba Father,
I ask that you put me in his path. In Jesus name. :thankyou2 :amen

I will agree with you in prayer. There's nothing wrong with desiring to be married, as long as you are willing to wait on the Lord, as you've indicated. In fact, the bible tells us to ask for things. We're told that we "have not because we ask not." One thing I want to mention, even though I'm sure you already know and are already doing this. It's also a good idea to be praying that God will shape you into the kind of woman you need to be to be a good wife to the man He brings you.

Oh Jadeeyes - thank you so much for standing with me, and I greatly appreciate the wise instructions, it is confirmation. The holy spirit has been leading me to pray in that manner.

Here is another sister who will be in prayer for you. I agree whole heartedly with Jadeeyes......... as one who has asked God to send someone special and then waited upon the Lord for five years to bring him to me, I know that these prayers are answered in God's own time. The really good news is that the person He brought is everything I could have possibly asked for.
