Pen Pals

My girls attempted to have pen pals on another hs site. It hasn't been to successful.

I have two girls, 8 and 11, that would like to have pen pals. It would be neat for them to connect to different parts of the states and maybe around the world. I was using their letter writing skills for hs. I did let the 8 year old be creative and draw pictures and such too.

If any one thinks this could work, please let me know.

My 14 year old would daughter was just asking for me to set her up with a pen pal! And I also have a 9 year old daughter. Let me know!

My little girl Annie age 6 would love to get a letter from a friend and to have a friend to write to also. So would my older son Matt age 12.

Let me know through pm and we can set em up. I think that's a wonderful idea :thumb to have a wide array of friends from all over, and it's a wonderful idea to add into the homeschooling for writing.

Wow, this thread is cool.. made me think back when I was a little girl and how I had a penpal from Japan. It was so awesome to get a letter from her. I got different things from her.. and I would send her small things from America. We lost contact after two/three years ... I wonder where she is today???? I pray she knows the Lord of lords... King of kings...
