I was at the grocery store today(Publix) and our ground beef went up almost $2 from what it normally is....has anyone else noticed this??

I didn't notice the ground beef price up two days ago (I wasn't looking for that), but the price of chicken was certainly up - about a dollar more per pound than usual. I was in a big hurry, so I bought it anyway.

Very cool! And yes, He always provides what we need, and sometimes even more, praise God!

Why is your little one not feeling well? (I've prayed that the Lord comforts him and heals whatever is ailing him.)

Isn't this amazing??? I've had the same thing happen to me. I'll have a big financial need, and for some reason there is enough...I couldn't tell you how (maybe I need to keep better track of my finances :heh.) When my husband asks me how we had enough, I say, "Honestly, I don't know! The Lord injected some in our checking account without my knowing!" He just looks at me strange. :hehee

I went to the store yesterday and was shocked at some of the prices.

Oh, Please :panic I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow for a family of seven.

Mental note pray before I go. I'm afraid to go shopping now. I have been blessed to see how the Lord provides though, thanks to him he has put it on my heart to use coupons again.

I did get gas today, $2.99 a gallon. I'm planning on talking to hubby about how we can cut back on gas. We go to church several times a week, which is across town. Plus, for all of us to go we take two vehicles. Oh' wise me decided I was done with vans and bought a car before I realized I was pregnant again.

Lesson here, depend on God not on yourself. (from the mouth of a 11 year old) :preach

This reminds me of the scripture in Revelations that says that a days wage is equal to a day's meal or something like that.

Bushel of corn is up, so feed for cattle is up, ground Beef is up and every other food product that depends on the corn crop. That is what it means to go GREEN! I hope you are all using "E85" in your car's to go to the store you pay for it once at the pump then again when you buy food.:panic:)

It will be way way way worse. Today's prices will seem like a steal when that day comes. Let's hope we are not here.:pray
