My son wants a few magazines. Things that have to do with nature and such. The thing is I want something that is creation friendly. Something like Ranger Rick and National Geographic for kids. He also wants the Focus on the Family magazine so that is one. Does anyone have any other suggestions? He is 9 and in the 4th grade.
Thanks--I am thinking a few subs would be a great Christmas present

[NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC FOR KIDS MAGAZINE (AGES 6- 14) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Katie Murray: National Geographic for Kids is a fantastic magazine for young children. Most kids thoroughly enjoy watching the animal planet and this magazine encompasses not only new and unusual animals, but common animals as well. It covers interesting facts and fun games for kids to play and is truly enjoyed by kids of all ages. The information provided in National Geographic for Kids has helped my children in both science, critical thinking and problem solving
KIDS DISCOVER MAGAZINE (AGES 6 & UP) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Betsy Ripley: I have given Kids Discover magazine for the past two years as Christmas gifts to relative’s and friend’s children they LOVE it. Each issue covers one topic in wonderful detail and pictures. It is almost like a mini National Geographic for children. Comparatively speaking, this magazine with 10 issues a year is by far the best value on the market. Other subscriptions I give (only because a child in the family home is already receiving my gift of Kids Discover Magazine) cost more then TWICE the amount. Keep up the good work. I am renewing my Christmas gifts now; the children's parents tell me this is their FAVORITE gift because they get it all year round.
GIFTED CHILD TODAY MAGAZINE (ALL AGES) SUBSCRIPTION] - Offers teachers and parents current and practical advice on educating gifted, talented and creative learners. The magazine features regular columns by national experts, informative articles and new product reviews.
KID ZONE MAGAZINE (AGES 4- 12) SUBSCRIPTION] - Kid Zone empowers children 4-12 years to learn new talents, expand their creativity and build their confidence. Filled with craft activities, kid-friendly features, games, puzzles, trivia, recipes, jokes and stories, kids find activities to keep themselves entertained for hours.
MUSE MAGAZINE (AGES 10 & UP) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Kathy Marshbank: Muse is a great magazine for children interested in art and/or science. Beautiful photographs, with fun and informative articles about things like how to make fake ice cream for a photo shoot!
NICKELODEON MAGAZINE (AGES 6- 14) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: John Trumbull: Nickelodeon Magazine is fantastic! This is a true magazine subscription the kids really begged for. It is very informative, entertaining and full of fun articles that have something for everyone in the family. Nickelodeon Magazine is a must have for every kid.
ODYSSEY MAGAZINE (AGES 10- 16) SUBSCRIPTION] - Odyssey Magazine is a physical and space science magazine written in language that kids between the ages of 10 and 15 can understand and enjoy
OWL MAGAZINE (AGES 9- 13) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Mary Jane Andersen: My 12-year-old son eagerly awaits each issue of Owl magazine. He loves science, and Owl is full of information on many different scientific subjects. My son's most frequent saying after he reads Owl is, "Hey mom, did you know..."? This is our second subscription to Owl and we both look forward to learning many new things in the coming months.
RANGER RICK MAGAZINE (AGES 7 & UP) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Bill Maxwell: Ranger Rick Magazine is an excellent magazine for children. The content is very age appropriate and the articles and pictures are very eye catching for children. I enjoyed reading this magazine with my youngest, and learned a few things myself. I would highly recommend this magazine as a good starter magazine for the aspiring reader. My kids still have the posters that come in each issue and we've saved all the magazines and the kids have used them for school projects as well.
ZOOBOOKS MAGAZINE (AGES 5- 12) SUBSCRIPTION] - Featured review submitted By: Ligia Stockwell: I purchased Zoobooks magazine for my 5 year old daughter. She enjoys waiting for her very own magazine to come. We enjoy reading each issue cover to cover. It is very informative in kid friendly language. The magazine covers one topic per issue and we enjoy learning everything there is to know about each topic. The illustrations and photography are beautiful and support the articles well.

Are any of these CHRISTIAN magazines with a creation worldview?
I am not meaning to sound picky, but I really don't want evolution shoved down their throats.

If you have a local Christian Bookstore, they will have a listing of Magazines and by age group. I'm not too familiar with boy-geared mags for that age group
