I can't believe it, I bought a box of Cheerios from Kroger over the week-end and it is pretty much half pink and normal design......They are donating proceeds to the breat cancer campaign ok....
My husband went to get some Cheerios which is his favorite cereal for a snack, comes into the living room and carrying the box says, "Why is my box of Cheerios pink?":doh
It even talks about it on the box, all I can think of is cause if you read it you would know.
Why are men so threatened by the color pink????
What do you all think?
Yours in Christ,
Nannette (a.k.a. LupusMommyto5)

We bought pink Kleenex today, that a portion goes to breast cancer research. Hubby doesn't have issues with pink. He even has a pink shirt. He doesn't wear it often because he prefers to wear his Western Shirts with snaps.

My DH would surely ask, but he has no qualms in eating or wearing pink.

Hubby has no problem with pink, he talks about painting a room a pinky rose color.

Well I am a women and I don't like the color pink, won't wear it, will not buy most items if they are pink (ok my youngest loves pink so I buy it for her). I love RED!! Red rocks! My poor kids never had baby blankets in baby blue or baby pink. Yuck!

I couldn't get my husband to wear a pink shirt or tie if I offered him a million dollars. And I think he would look so nice in that color! Oh well... :lol2

I wouldn't wear pink. My two daughters won't wear pink. They won't even wear the pink socks that come with the multi-colored packs of socks I get them.
I don't like corporations promising to give a donation to whatever cause if I buy their product. I would prefer that they lower the wholesale cost by that amount and let me decide whom to give charity to. Thus out of that principal, or idea, I try to avoid purchasing products when their is some kind of promised donation tied to it. Since everything on the store shelves has just about gone pink for breast cancer... it's getting harder to avoid buying the stuff... but I've managed so far. I like green, blue, black, tan, brown... just don't care for pink, at least I don't care for it on me.

My ex- wouldn't be caught dead wearing pink, but his 6'4" football-player best friend had absolutely no problem wearing pink. I don't think my brothers or dad have ever worn pink (cops, ya know - gotta uphold that tough-guy image), but I don't think any on them would have a big problem with a pink box of cereal. :)
