Praise God for His protection

After work yesterday, my husband, 2 kids, and granddaughter were upstairs when I came home. I walked into the family room and smelled electrical wires burning. I shouted up to my husband and he ran into the air handler room where the electrical panel and all that stuff is. The whole panel was on fire!! He turned everything off, but it took a couple of hours to acess the damage. We didn't know if we were going to have electricity in that part of the house, or if the a/c was gone, or what. It ended up costing less than $40.00 and everything works fine.

If it had happened during the night, we may not have gotten out. Because the air handler is right there by the panel, all the smoke was going into it and then outside so the smoke alarms did not go off!!

Praising God for keeping his arms around you and your family and protecting you!!! I know the feeling of God's protection like that. About 4 years ago I had a really bad gas leak from my gas meter (someone had actually tampered with it and it had to be replaced). It had been leaking for days, but I didn't know as it is on the side of my house and also due to wind shifts. One day, a police officer was banging on my door and told me to get out of my house immediatly (my little girl was with me and the boys were in school). Long story short, they couldn't believe that an explosion hadn't already happened as they said enough gas was leaking to take out more than half of our block. They said all of us were lucky to be alive and even said that "someone was looking out for you guys". And to top it off, the meter is right outside my boy's bedroom window and a daycare is next to me facing another street on that same side of my house. I thanked God over and over for sending his angels down to surround our house and others. It truley was the ONLY explanation that nothing horrible had happened.

He did the same thing for you and your family! What an awesome God!!!
