Did anyone hear the shadow stats speaker John Willaims on Glenn Beck ? I get the e-mails and just finished listening to it .:panic
I can understand it all better now, How the whole economy works and how the government can skew the inflation rate,But what really scares me is ... we are in deep doo doo . No way out , I will try to copy and paste the link if I am not sucessful ( I have computer issues lol ) then just go to Glenn Beck and scroll down to the shadow stat paragrah, click on Free Audio !

Is this the guy that has the $175.00 a year newsletter? Wonder what he plans to do with all that money? :thinking

We all like to be frightened on occasion, but Jesus said to not let our hearts be troubled.

Its gonna be o.k.

A good ole dose of living in the old days might do us some good. We might have to sit on the porch on Saturday night and talk to each other.

When people really get scared, :fear, they go to church. :scripture

I just wanted to point out that that is relatively cheap for a financial newsletter. Many of the "best" ones are several thousand dollars a year.

I agree that the newsletter is cheap, but what I was wondering was why these people who foster gloom and doom upon us always have a product to sell. If the money is going to collapse, maybe they should ask for payments to me made in gold or other precious metals.

No doubt the man is serious and intelligent, but when its a human being making the prediction, (good or bad), it may not always turn out the way they think. We have some brilliant financial minds working on our problems and I believe we will eventually be o.k.

I remember a book written that was entitled 1992 Collapse of America. The book is now in garage sales for .10....I guess they use them to start fires or as door stops.

Except for heaven or hell, nothing is ever as bad as it seems or as good as it seems. It fluctuates.

I must have misunderstood your original comment...it just sounded like you were saying that $175/year is expensive for a financial newsletter...sorry. ;)

This is a very good post. Thanks.

It's really sad what Washington has done to our country.
