Here is a version of Peace in the Valley sung by Johnny Cash. I really like a lot of the old time Gospel music. This is one of my favorite songs.

I really love the old gospel as well. Most of the ones I really like don't have a video to go with them though. :lol2

I love that song. I have a friend who sings it and whenever I see her I like for her to sing it for me. It was written by Thomas Dorsett. Here's some history:

Mssophie, thanks for posting the link. Looks like there are other good resources for old time gospel on that site. I see the article mentions Mahalia Jackson, who I like as well.

Yeah, Peace in the Valley is my favorite. I do like Johnny singing it but Elvis' version was better. :)
