Dear Ladies,

I know we each from time to time like to talk about our female issues that affect only us and seek advice from our experienced sisters of all walks of life... I also know sometimes our lives as mothers can also seem gross or offensive to others (although this being a woman's forum I don't know why it would shock a woman) especially men who may lurk in here to see what we talk about. I also know some people have queasy stomachs and are sensitive to certain issues as was pointed out to me yesterday.

I also know that from time to time certain posts we really want to discuss are closed/removed for that purpose and sometimes we want a lot of feedback and that sometimes is not always easy to get from just PM'ing.

So, I suggest that we join together and for those of us who want to be able to see advice on matters like that and ask the mods for our own sticky (if that's what you call it, or forum if that's the proper word) and then we can talk about them, and others who don't wish to be subjected to our conversations don't have to click on our topic in that forum for the reasons stated above.

What do ya'all think?

Most posts that contain this information are usually titled "Women/Ladies only...gross info ahead" so whoever clicks on it shouldn't be surprised in the least as they have been forewarned. I feel that if anyone complains...well, why are they clicking on that particular thread to begin with...kwim? Some people just like to gripe about one thing or another.

Personally, if it appears to be something I might find offensive in any way, shape or form, I simply skip it and don't even open the thread. Simple as that. :)

I think we should be able to, or at least I would like to be able to, discuss health issues- and even alternative medicine with others on the forum. If it wasn't for my older lady friend I would still be having much trouble going through peri-menopausal symptoms. My mother is dead and I don't have anyone else to turn to for stuff. Some people have been through what we are going through and can really offer some great advice. I can understand if the admin doesn't want to take responsibility for anyone's health- so maybe they can open up an entire section for "women's health" or "health realted issues" with a sticky for anyone entering that section with a disclaimer or something. In the subject area we can put- woman's health issue- or women only. But yes, I think that is a good idea- I wuld appreciate being able to do that :) I just read somewhere about a tinshed...??? what is that?

Some topics will get relegated to the Tin Foil Shed because they deal with Unproven phenomena and conspiracy theories. This site is supposedly hidden from humans and aliens. If you are not a carbon based bioplasma generated being you may post here.

Well it's not going to happen ladies, so we will just have to pm each other for this idea. I heard back from administration and it's just well not appropriate for the forum, but thanks for the support on the idea.

I just want to add I must respect their wishes as I do appreciate having RR to come to.
