They say I have freedom of speech yet I am told what I can say
They say I have freedom of religion - yet I'm told where it's not allowed each day
They say my views are obstructive and dangerous as others' - just the same
Yet they can say and worship their God freely while I can't even mention my Lord's name.
They say I live in a great country that promotes the freedoms of all
Yet all I see are my own people being arrested for protesting at "city hall"
They say I have the right to defend myself until I choose to do so then I have commited a crime
Yet the one who broke in and robbed me first and tried to hurt us does no time
They say when Jesus died it was just another day
They say that like hey it didn't happen now so it's okay
They say things will get better as people loose their life each day
To a world that's scary and full of immoral lies that slowly cause decay
I hope when Jesus does come back and when he does might say-
To those who continue to deny and to hurt "I will still save you if you ask me now NOT another day!"
