Pen Pals for Our Children

Ok, ladies, in our neighborhood there are no children I would want my daughter associating with. She is 9 years old and I keep her very close to me. There is a family down the street that homeschools as well but they are not Christian. Another family next door to them has children her age but they are boys and even the little sister who is about 5 years old runs around unsupervised all the time. I don't even let my daughter out in our backyard without being under my watchful eyes.

Here's my idea. Since there are quite a few of us here that have children and might be in the same predicament our family is in, why don't we have our children be pen pals with each other? This way, I figure, we would know that our kids are writing to others that are also Christian and it would be fun for them. I know my daughter loves to have cards/letters/packages addressed to her. If you are okay with it, please let me know.
